Finding Unicorns: Attracting Young People to Your Group

Many Humanist groups struggle to attract younger members. Why? There is nothing inherent in Humanist ideas which only appeals to older people, so we should be able to attract everybody! In this workshop James will describe how the Ethical Society of St. Louis has drawn a younger crowd, and how your AHA group can do so too!

Dr. James Croft is the former Leader at the Ethical Society of St. Louis – one of the largest Humanist congregations in the world. A graduate of Cambridge and Harvard Universities, James is an in-demand public speaker, an engaging teacher, and a passionate activist for human rights. James was raised on William Shakespeare, Carl Sagan and Star Trek, and lives with his fabulous drag queen husband Kolten.
