How to Deal with Difficult People in Your Group

Humanists are often kind-hearted and long suffering toward difficult people in their groups because they know what it’s like to be an outcast and therefore don’t want to cast out fellow humanists. Yet “toxic personalities” can destroy or harm a group that people want and need and, depending on the toxic nature of their behavior, can become oppressive or abusive toward vulnerable or targeted individuals. So how can humanists be sensitive to the quirks of socially awkward members yet also serve the group as a whole and protect potential victims? This webinar will be interactive as we lay some basic groundwork for both tolerance and intervention and then address your specific needs.
